Prior to CNTR Capital, Chris was Executive Vice President and Partner of Mock Resources where he was instrumental in the company’s growth from $100,000 in revenue to over $500 million and over 200 employees at its peak. Chris grew Mock Resources into one of the largest energy marketing firms in the Western U.S. during energy deregulation. He mastered the necessary disciplines to overcome all barriers to entry, delivering the lowest energy and emissions cost to the Western U.S. and Pacific Rim. Distribution was more than 1 billion gallons, of blended feedstocks and supplied customers with 1 BCF of natural gas.
For a decade, he directed profitable stewardship of 500,000 to over 1,000,000 bbl. p/mo of Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbor terminaling, serving the Western U.S. & Pacific Rim’s marine, industrial, and utility energy needs.

Ryan Kunzi
Prior to CNTR Capital, Ryan co-founded a lower- to mid-market private equity fund in Denver that evaluated deals with an aggregate enterprise value (EV) above $500 million across various industries including TM&T, Energy Services, Healthcare, Transportation, Engineering, Consulting, Maintenance Services and Financial Services. Additionally, Ryan led over $28 billion in mergers and acquisitions and capital raises across energy, power generation, natural resources, technology, media, and telecommunications at Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Jefferies, and Barclays.
Additionally, Ryan ran corporate development for a family-owned oil company, where he led an $800 million transformation of a "super-giant" depleted oil field into a commercially viable underground natural gas storage facility.

Kathy Kunzi
Prior to joining CNTR, Kathy was a Partner in the long-standing design/contracting firm of NLM & Associates which specializes in residential construction, remodeling, and interior design. Kathy’s passion and ability to connect and interact with clients to assess their needs, wants, and desires and translate that into detailed floor and scope of work plans created ongoing successful custom projects. These custom projects are located throughout California’s and Ohio’s high-end private communities. Prior to that Kathy purchased, redesigned, remodeled, and staged high-end properties through her design firm, Michel’s Interiors. Throughout her career, Kathy has worked on over 25 custom home projects with a cumulative value of over $40 million. Kathy’s skill sets encompass contract creation and negotiations, construction management, strategic planning and marketing strategies.
Over the past two decades, Kathy’s leadership, wisdom and deep care and understanding of people has found a powerful expression in her civic and community life. Through her church, she co-founded and led a restoration ministry to help women identify their life barriers, envision the goals to become all of who they were meant to be, and put into action a plan to achieve those goals. Kathy has taught, counseled, and mentored hundreds of women over the years and continues to facilitate weekly small personal growth groups.

Taylor Kunzi
Taylor Kunzi is a Partner at CNTR and formerly a Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Specialist at Best Buy. Taylor’s role at both companies was and is to partner with business leaders and executives to grow their employee experience and culture to reach maximum output from their teams. Taylor spent 13 years working for Best Buy, a Fortune 100 company, and he knows what truly drives employees to be their best through providing a culture that fosters training, development, and personal growth.
At Best Buy, Taylor helped large big-box retail locations, field services, and distribution centers identify critical leadership talent needed to drive success and employee engagement for over 80 locations in the Midwest and West Coast territories accounting for $2.1 billion in revenue. During this time, he also placed Senior Leadership talent for Geek Squad Field Services across all major markets in the U.S. Earlier in his career, Taylor played an integral part in supporting the onboarding of newly acquired companies into Best Buy’s culture. Most recently, he served as a military champion for the company where he spearheaded programs that assisted transitioning service members to find a career within Best Buy.
